Today we did a scene where we were at a dentist and our task was to exaggerate as much as possible. Our group used exaggeration in our scene using voice and actions. The patient (Aydan) was coming to the dentist and he was greeted by a nasty, over-exaggerating receptionist (Me). He then went to the waiting room and was talking to another patient (Nick) who was getting all his teeth pulled out with the dentists bare hands. When the patient went into the room, the creepy dentist (Jack) and the assistant (Curt) used chainsaws and hammers to remove the problem tooth.

A tableaux is a still pose usually at the start or end of a performance. Exaggeration is making a situation bigger than what it is. An actor can exaggerate their voice, movements, gestures and facial expressions. Today we made a TV ad, Our group advertised Baby Soap, Our Catchphrase was ‘Nope, just baby soap.’ We exaggerated washing Curt and our synchronised movements.
